Meet David Milder, DDS, MD
Dr. Milder received his BS in biology from UC Irvine. Following that he trained at UCI Medical Center and became certified as a Medical Technologist. He went to UCLA and attained a DDS with honors while working as a Medical Technologist at UCLA Medical Center. Following dental school, Dr. Milder worked in a large group dental practice and became proficient in dental exodontia. He later received his MD from the University of Missouri Kansas City (UMKC) and postgraduate training including an internship in general surgery and a residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at UMKC/Truman Medical Center in Kansas City. Dr. Milder was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa, Omicron Kappa Upsilon, and Alpha Omega Alpha honorary societies during his academic training.
Dr. Milder has been practicing oral and maxillofacial surgery for over 25 years. He is a member of numerous professional societies including AAOMS, The International Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons and the California Medical Association. He is a past president of the San Diego County Dental Society. He was also elected to the Pierre Fauchard Academy and is a Fellow of the American College of Dentists. Personal interests include bicycling, running, and crosswords. Dr. Milder is a long time supporting member of the San Diego Bicycle Club. He has two beautiful daughters who are both in the dental field, one is a Lieutenant in the US Navy. He also has a beautiful wife of 32 years who is a contract dentist for the Navy.
